HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - More charges could be pending against a Herkimer Police investigator accused of stealing money from the department's evidence room.

Former investigator Robert Risi is charged with taking more than $9,000 that was in evidence.

The department is in the process of taking inventory of their evidence room; if any money from Risi's cases turns up missing, he could face additional charges.

Police Chief Joe Malone says they should be done next week. He could not comment on whether any money was found missing so far.
