New Hartford man charged for sending unwanted gifts to female

WHITESTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - A New Hartford man is charged with harassment after years of sending unwanted gifts to a female's work place, State Police said.

State Police in Marcy arrested Steven Zarnoch, 47 of New Hartford, and charged him with aggravated harassment. Authorities said an investigation revealed Zarnoch had been sending unwanted gifts and mailings to a female's residence and place of employment for over three years.

Zarnoch was arraigned in the Town of Whitestown Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000.00 bail bond.

Zarnoch is scheduled to reappear in court on July 6, 2009 at 4 p.m. to answer the charges lodged against him.
