TV Pitchman, Billy Mays, dead at age 50

TAMPA, F.L (NBC) - The television pitchman, Billy Mays, known for his boisterous pitching of products such as Oxi-Clean and Orange Glo was found dead at his home in Tampa Florida, Sunday morning, by his wife.

The night before, Mays was on a US Airways jet that landed at the Tampa Airport with a blown tire. Nobody on the flight sustained any injuries, but at the time Mays said that he was hit in the head by an object during the landing, but says he wasn't injured.

Doctors say that an autopsy will be done on Monday. The famous television pitchman was fifty years old.
