Tractor trailer strikes car from previous accident and jackknifes on ThruwayDEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Thursday's wet and slippery conditions are to blame for a accident on the thruway that caused a tractor trailer to jackknife. State Police say the truck's driver was heading west at the time when he tried to avoid a motorcycle that had stopped in the shoulder of the road. The driver lost control and struck a car that was already in another accident. The truck hit the guide rail and spilled 150 gallons of diesel fuel. Luckily there were no injuries. Most Popular |
