JC Penney's shoplifting suspect arrested

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - NEWSChannel 2 and our viewers helped the New Hartford Police Department locate and arrest the suspect from Monday's larceny at JC Penney's in the Sangertown Square Mall.
    
Andrew L. Howe, 23, Norwich, is charged petit larceny and reckless endangerment.

A security guard was struck by the suspect's vehicle as he fled from the parking lot.
    
He was arraigned in New Hartford Court and sent to Oneida County Jail on bail.  Howe is due back in court at a later date.
