UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - If you are thinking of heading to the Parkway here in Utica for the fireworks this weekend, think again.

Remember, they have been moved this year. They're being held at Proctor Park. The festivities begin at noon for what is being billed as the "4th of July Party in the Park."

There will be various musical performances along with food vendors, a classic car show and a carnival for children.

Besides the anniversary of the park, there is also work being done over at the Parkway site to improve parking. The fireworks will be moved back to the Parkway next year.
