Mr. McGills employee arrested twice in less than a year for serving alcohol to minor
SCHUYLER, N.Y. & BARNEVELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police have arrested two local men for selling alcoholic beverages to underage operatives in an underage drinking sting. One of those men was arrested last year at the same bar with the same charge. 46-year-old Ralph Ciociola of Utica was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of alcohol. Ciociola sold alcohol to a minor while bar-tending at Mr. McGill's on Herkimer Road in the Town of Schuyler. He was also ticketed and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Schuyler Court on July 13. Ciociola was also arrested with the same charges on November 26, 2008 when Mr. McGills was busted in a similar sting. Also arrested in this sting was 19-year-old Randall Marsden of Holland Patent who is charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of alcohol. According to State Police, Marsden also sold alcohol to an underage male while working at the Stewarts on State Route 12 in Barneveld. He was ticketed at is schedule to appear in Town of Trenton Court on July 14. As a result of this initiative, the following establishments were in compliance:
