Westmoreland accident sends one man to hospital
WESTMORELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Maryland man was sent to the hospital following an accident on Route 5 around 7:00 Saturday evening. According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old David Jastrab of Silver Springs, Maryland was driving east on Route 5 when he blacked out. Jastrab's vehicle drifted into the other lane of oncoming traffic. The car hit another car going westbound operated by 42-year-old Dale Mudge of Norwich, police say. Jastrab was sent to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for evaluation. He was also ticketed for failure to keep right that can be returned to the Town of Westmoreland Court at a later date. Most Popular
