Leonardsville man accused of leaving numerous harassing messages for ex-girlfriend
BRIDGEWATER, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Leonardsville man is facing harassment charges after authorities he say he left numerous messages on the phone of his ex-girlfriend.
According to State Police, Andrew C. Sheppard, 20, of Leonardsville, is accused of leaving multiple messages on the home answering machine and the answering machine on the cell phone of his ex-girlfriend in Bridgewater. These messages contained numerous accounts of vulgarity and obscenities aimed towards his ex-girlfriend. Sheppard is facing the charge of second-degree aggravated harassment. He was arraigned in the Town of Sangerfield Court, and a temporary order of protection was issued to Sheppard. He was sent to Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, and is due back in Town of Bridgewater Court on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 7 p.m. |
