Begay Makes it official: Tiger's coming to Turning Stone

VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Central New York is abuzz because a tiger will soon be on the loose! Tiger Woods will be playing at the Turning Stone Resort next month. Now we know how you can get tickets to see him!

Tiger's long time friend and fellow PGA professional Notah Begay III made the announcement. The two played together in college at Stanford.

Begay holds his annual charity skins game at the Turning Stone where four PGA players, including himself play 18 holes to raise money for Begay's foundation which supports youth sports and wellness programs for Native Americans in New Mexico and other states.

Begay, a Navajo Indian, is the only Native American on the PGA Tour.

Tiger had planned to play in Begay's event last year...but couldn't because of his knee injury. Now he's healthy and Central New York golf fans are elated and so is the Turning Stone.

He will be here on Monday, August 24th.
