FLOYD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The case against a Deerfield woman accused of smothering her infant daughter to death is now headed straight to a grand jury.

LeeAnn Wimmers is charged in the death of her four-month-old daughter.

She waived her felony hearing set for Friday afternoon in Floyd Town Court and now the case goes straight to a grand jury for possible indictment.
