51 graduate from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - St. Elizabeth Medical Center College of Nursing held it's 108th commencement ceremony, Saturday.
 
The graduating class included 51 new nurses, who travelled across Genesee St. From the school, to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, where the ceremony took place.
 
The commencement speaker at the ceremony was Barbara Zittel, an international nursing consultant, who spoke about the impact that the new graduates will have on the world once they enter the work force.
 
Each graduate received their Associate's Degree, many are expected to continue their education to obtain their Bachelor's Degree as well.
 
"It's about compassion, its about caring," said Marian Kovatchitch, of the College of Nursing. "This is unique group of individuals who go through a nursing program. 
 
"It's not for everyone"
 
All of the individuals who graduated are now eligible to take their N-CLEX or state license exam to become a Registered Nurse.
