Man arrested for DWI after crashing motorcycle in Westmoreland
WESTMORELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Westmoreland has been charged with DWI after he injured himself in a motorcycle crash on Deans Highway.
According to New York State Police, 32-year-old Benjamin Hunt of Westmoreland was attempting to make a left hand turn from State Route 5 onto Deans Highway. He lost control of his motorcycle causing it to crash. Hunt sustained minor abrasions to his hand and refused medical treatment at the scene. Further investigation revealed that Hunt was intoxicated and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Breathe analysis revealed that Hunt's blood alcohol content was .27%. He is scheduled to return to Town of Westmoreland Court in August. |
