South New Berlin man suffering from ALS on the field for Yankees gameNEW YORK, N.Y. (WKTV) - A local face was on the scene of the Yankee game Wednesday afternoon. George Murray, of South New Berlin, was actually on the field and got a high five from the whole team! The Yankees have a new community initiative called Hope Week, where five individuals are honored at the new stadium. George has ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Wednesday was a day for him to forget about his problems and enjoy the game with his family. |
