NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A country band with local roots is celebrating the release of its very first album this week. On Tuesday, we caught up with the proud mama of some of the band's members.

If you haven't heard of them yet, you will soon! Gloriana's first album hit store shelves Tuesday.

Gloriana officially formed in 2007, and already have quite the following both locally and nationally. Tom and Mike Gossin are originally from New Hartford, and mom, Maryann Witte couldn't be more proud of her boys.

"They were very determined," Witte said. "They worked hard at it and went above what was expected of them to get where they are today. I saw that over the years when they were growing up. They are absolutely dedicated to music and that's it."

The past few months have been a wild roller coaster ride for the Gossin boys and their band - currently, the number one album on iTunes, a performance at the CMT Awards, and a tour with Taylor Swift.

"They had security to get backstage and they had their own trailer and I couldn't get to them after the show when I wanted to," Witte said. "And I said - this is big time."

Gloriana's album is now available with a number of tracks you can really get into.

"They're all really great and different," Witte said. "Some are sang by one person and others are the four-part harmony...the last song. "Time to Let Me Go" was actually written by my sons...so that's kind of cool also."
