Former presidents and other dignitaries attend Kennedy funeral

BOSTON (AP) - President Barack Obama and his wife have joined three former presidents and other dignitaries at a Boston church
for the funeral of Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Obama will be delivering the eulogy at the funeral. He and his wife are seated with Vice President Joe Biden. Directly behind them are Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton, George W. Bush and wife Laura, and Jimmy Carter and wife Rosalyn.

Dozens of current and former members of Congress are also on
hand.

Kennedy's flag-draped casket was carried by eight military servicemen, and was wrapped tightly in plastic to guard against the
rain, as it was removed from his brother's presidential library and put into a hearse to be taken to the church.

His wife, Victoria, closed her eyes and apeared to choke back tears as she watched under cover of an umbrella.

Family and friends had earleier gathered around the casket during a brief prayer service.
