Local residents to show support for President Obama's healthcare plan
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Local area residents will be showing their support for President Obama's healthcare reform this week on Broad Street.
The group known as Central New York Citizens in Action will it hold a vigil on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. outside the Federal Building. President Obama will address the nation the following day, Wednesday, regarding his healthcare plan. The local citizens group says speakers will talk on Tuesday about the need for healthcare reform and those that attend will be asked to sign a petition to show congress that they want universal healthcare. |
