Frankfort company donates machinery to Herkimer County BOCES

FRANKFORT, N.Y. (WKTV)<.b> - CTM Machinery in Frankfort is giving away $35,000 in equipment to Herkimer County BOCES.

Manual mills, lathes and various other tools are making their way to the school to help further machining programs.

It's a precursor to a new class set up by CTM, a local college and working solutions. "what we are looking to do is help people choose this as a career I think the first class will have anywhere between 6 to 132 students and they are going to learn how to do basic machining skills," says CTM Sales Engineer John Piseck.

BOCES received the tools Wednesday morning and the new machining class is expected to start within two weeks.
