Boonville house fire ruled suspicious

BOONVILLE, NY (WKTV) - Firefighters in Boonville responded to a fully engulfed fire on East Road at around10:30 Saturday night. Departments from Boonville, Remsen, and Constableville had their hands full battling the vacant home which turned out to be a total loss due to heavy fire and smoke damage.

According to fire officials at the scene, the house had been empty since a previous fire in June.

Oneida County Sheriff's Department is assisting in the investigation and say that the cause of the fire is suspicious.
