UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities are looking for information that could lead to the arrest of the latest "Fugitive of the Week."

U.S. Marshals are on the hunt for Eric Blackshear Jr., 20, of Utica.

Marshals said he is roughly 5' 8", with brown eyes and black hair.

Blackshear is being sought by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for violation of probation stemming from a 2007 conviction of burglary.

Marshals say if you see Eric Blackshear, do not approach him.

"If viewers see Mr. Blackshear, we do not want them to approach him," said Jamie Farrington of the U.S. Marshal's Office. "He does not have a lengthy criminal history...he has no criminal history of violence. But, we don't want anyone to approach him and take a chance getting injured. If you see him, call 911 or call Oneida County Sheriff's Warrants Unit at 315-765-2232 or the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force at 315-690-1834."
