Unadilla man charged for helping in multiple Otsego County burglaries
UNADILLA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Unadilla man has been charged in connection with numerous burglaries that extend from Unadilla to Oneonta and Cooperstown. According to New York State Police, Lawrence D. Littlehale, 26, of Unadilla is charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The charges come after an investigation into numerous residential burglaries that have occurred in the Otsego County area since August 2009. Authorities said the investigation centered in Unadilla, but ultimately extended to the Oneonta and Cooperstown areas. State Police said Littlehale is charged with helping a second individual as he committed burglaries to residences in the Village of Unadilla and to an apartment located on the Hartwick College Campus in Oneonta.In addition, State Police said Littlehale was found to be in possession of stolen property. The name of the second individual was not released by authorities at this time. Littlehale was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Unadilla Court on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 5 pm and in the City of Oneonta Court on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. State Police said the investigation is continuing and additional arrests are expected. |
