Car-pedestrian accident closes Herkimer town road

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police are investigating an accident involving a car and a pedestrian in the Town of Herkimer.

The accident happened around 7:00 Saturday night on West German Street in Herkimer. The road was closed shortly after 7:00 and was re-opened around 10:00 Saturday night.

Police are not releasing any more details at this time.
