Crews look into cause of fire at vacant Utica home

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A building fire along Albany and Bleeker Streets in Utica is currently under investigation.

The blaze at 515 Albany St. broke out around 9:30 Sunday night but crews were on the scene well into the overnight hours.

According to Utica Fire officials, the building was being used as storage by Maugeri's Automotive which is right next door.

They say it was full of old tires and engine parts, making it difficult to fight so they had to use foam to put out the fire.

No one was hurt.
