Oneida County Fall Arson Seminar held at the Ramada Inn

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police officers, firefighters and insurance agents were back in class Wednesday for the Oneida County Fall Arson seminar.

The subject matter is by request and this year, those in attendance wanted to learn more about investigating car fires.

"For insurance companies, it is especially, in this time of economic problems, people have and, of course, they want to get rid, of their cars and stuff, so this is one way to get rid of your car with the high payments," said John Paulson, chairperson of the seminar. "So this is why we're conducting this type of program."

The seminar is going on Wednesday at the Ramada Inn in New Hartford.
