UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The state appears to have closed down a popular Downtown Utica restaurant.
A Utica Police officer stood outside the door of 257 Steakhouse & Saloon Wednesday afternoon, and signs in the window said 'seized' for nonpayment of taxes; now in the possession of the State of New York.
The signs appears to be posted by the state department of taxation and finance.
The owner, Jamie Loy, has not returned phone calls to the restaurant.
