257 Steakhouse owner says restaurant will re-open as soon as possibleUTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The owner of a government-seized Utica restaurant said he plans to re-open as soon as possible. The State Department of Taxation and Finance seized 257 Steakhouse and Saloon on Wednesday for failure to remit state sales tax. Owner Jamie Loy is out of state for Army National Guard training. When reached by phone, Loy said he plans to re-open as soon as he can. State officials say Loy can re-open as soon as he pays the roughly $6,000 tax bill or works out a payment plan with the state.
