Erin Hamlin looks to next week to qualify for Olympic team " border="0" />

CALGARY (WKTV) - In her first attempt to qualify for a spot on the 2010 Olympic Luge Team, Remsen-native Erin Hamlin finished seventh Saturday night in Calgary, Canada at the World Cup Luge Series.

Erin needed a top-five finish to qualify for the U.S. team. She was in ninth place after her first run and improved to seventh on her second and final run of the night.

Her next opportunity to qualify will be at the World Cup Luge Series event in Austria next Saturday.
