Local world record winner appears on Internet TV show

DEERFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Car Room Magazine and TheCarRoom.com hosted an Internet TV show live from the home of a local, and Guinness World Record holding, model car collector.

Three guys took talking cars to a whole new level Saturday night. TheCarRoom.com was live, online, and broadcasting to thousands of eager toy-car collecting fanatics, straight from Michael Zarnock's hobby room.

Zarnock is what you would call a collector. Since the 1960's, he's collected Hotwheels cars, thousands of them. The hobby turned passion has earned him a Guinness World Record, and a guest starring role on Car Room TV's webcast.

Show host Joe Kelly Jr. says the number of toy cars collectors is growing. "We have sometimes 40-thousand hits a night," says Kelly Jr.

Over 15 million people worldwide are toy car collectors.
