Two dead in Paris Hill car accident

PARIS HILL, N.Y. (WKTV) - According to Oneida County Sheriffs, one male and one female are dead after a car accident on Paris Hill on Route 12 and Daytonville Road.

Portions of Route 12 have been closed.

Captain Richard Antanavige says it was a one car was involved in the accident with four people inside.  All four were of Asian decent and not from the area.  Another male and female were transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center with injuries.  One of the survivors called 911 following the fatal accident.  Both of the deceased were found outside of the vehicle when rescue crews arrived on the scene.

The car was traveling northbound on Route 12 at the time of the accident.

Cassville Fire Department, Oneida County Sheriffs and State Police were on the scene.

The investigation is on going.
