One dead following Utica double stabbing

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police say one man is dead after he and another man were stabbed outside a Utica bar.

The call came into police around 2:30 Friday morning, for a possible stabbing at "Spilka's Hotel" at the corner of Noyes and Stark streets.

Utica Police say they believe a fight started inside the building, then moved outside. That's when they say the two people were stabbed.

Both were taken to local hospitals, where one later died from his injuries.

Their names are not known this morning. Investigators say they have no suspects at the time.
