Two arrested in Lewis County camp burglaries

TURIN, N.Y. (WKTV) - Lewis County Sheriff's Department have arrested 31-year-old Shannon Larkins and 20-year-old Benjamin L. Platt, both of Lowville, after they unlawfully entered two camps on Houseville Gulf Road, in the Town of Turin, according to police.

Police say that they did steal several items from each camp.

Both subjects were charged with two counts of burglary in the third degree. They were arraigned in the Town of Turin Justice Court and remanded. Mrs. Larkins was remanded to Lewis County Jail with no bail and Mr. Platt was remanded to Lewis County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.
