Two men sought in connection with Dudley Ave shooting death

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police are searching for two men in connection with the late night shooting death of George Garrow on Wednesday, November 25.

According to Utica Police, Robert L. Thompson, 19, and Trevon L. Patterson, 18, are wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting on Dudley Ave.

Utica Police said that if you see either men, or have information on their whereabouts do not approach them. Instead, please contact Utica Police at 315-735-3301 or the Criminal Investigation Division at 315-223-3510.

Early Thursday morning, investigators were called to 1139 Dudley Avenue and upon arrival, found Garrow, 66, who had been shot. Garrow later died at the scene.

Neighbors say Garrow had one leg, used a motorized wheelchair to get around and was often seen driving a tractor to collect scrap metal he would sell for cash.

Garrow is listed on the state's criminal justice website as a registered sex offender who was convicted in 1988 of sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy.
