Molina-Cirino pleads not-guilty, returns to court Friday

By Laurie Benedict

UTICA – Wesley Molina-Cirino, the suspect being charged with the April 12 murder of Officer Thomas Lindsey, was in Utica City Court today, with an interpreter by his side.

The arraignment came just moments after the press conference where Chief C. Allen Pylman and District Attorney Scott McNamara announced they had arrested Molina-Cirino for Lindsey's murder.

Judge Eannace gave the defendant a guilty please, saying “I’m going to do this for you.”

Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. Molina-Cirino will return to court with a lawyer and an interpreter.

He is currently being held in Oneida County jail without bail.
