COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - An old holiday favorite is making a comeback in Cooperstown.

The Festival of Trees fundraiser is in full swing. The event is being held at the Glimmerglass State Park this year and several trees were fully decorated by several local businesses and families, many with themes.

For example, there's a yoga tree, a money tree, and even a beer tree.

Money raised by the event benefits the Friends of Glimmerglass State Park which in turn uses the money for its annual Winter Recreation Day.

"It's source of winter recreation as far as getting out there enjoying the environment, having a healthy exercise, and family time," said Karen Sheckells of the Friends for Glimmerglass State Park. "It also brings people to the area so they can see other things - Baseball Hall of Fame, Farmer's Museum."

If you'd like to check out the trees and get your name in the running to win one, head to Glimmerglass State Park this week.
