With ease on H1N1 vaccine availability, local clinics remove priority groups

ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Now that the initial shortage of swine flu vaccine has eased, Governor Paterson says all New Yorkers ages six months and older are eligible to get vaccinated.

That means that local H1N1 clinics - including those scheduled for this weekend - will serve more that just the previously prioritized groups.

Oneida County Health officials say that although the clinics will now be open clinics, you still will have to make an appointment in order to avoid long lines and long waits.

Monday, December 14: 1-3 pm for Adults 19 and up - 406 Elizabeth Street, Utica

Saturday, December 12: 10 - 2 pm for all age groups - Rome Griffiss Institute Technology Heights, 725 Daedalian Drive, Rome, NY

Wednesday, December 16 from 4-6 pm for Adults 19 and up at 406 Elizabeth St., Utica

Tuesday, December 22: 4-6 pm for all age groups - 406 Elizabeth Street, Utica
