CONSUMER ALERT: Vicks Dayquil packages recalled

WASHINGTON (AP) - Procter & Gamble is recalling about 700,000
packages of Vicks Dayquil Cold & Flu 24-Count Bonus Pack Liquicaps.

The government says the cold and flu medicine contains acetaminophen, but the products are not in child-resistant packaging. They also lack a required statement that warns the products are for households without young children.

No injuries have been reported.

Consumers can contact the company at 1-800-251-3374 for a refund or replacement coupon.
