Two sent to hospital following multi-car accident in Whitesboro

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two people were sent to the hospital after a multi-car accident in Whitesboro.

It happened around 10:30 Wednesday morning on Mohawk Street.

State Police say a gray Dodge Intrepid swerved to avoid stopped traffic and ended up locking its brakes and colliding with a white Pontiac Bonneville in the other lane. Both cars were badly damaged. A third person was checked out at the scene. Their injuries are not known.

Investigators say charges are likely.
