Fire destroys Litchfield home

LITCHFIELD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A home was destroyed Thursday after fire broke through the Clemons Road home.

Firefighters were called to the home at 299 Clemons Road around 1:00 p.m. Fire agencies from both Herkimer and Oneida Counties responded to the blaze.

A family was left homeless and the American Red Cross responded to help them.

No injuries were reported and an investigation is underway.
