Man arrested for allegedly selling weed at Applebee's

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man is arrested for attempting to sell marijuana at the Applebee's in New Hartford.

According to police, Benjamin Brown, 29, entered the restaurant, ordered a drink at the bar and then openly began attempting to sell weed to other customers.

Employees at Applebee's told Brown to leave then called police. Brown now faces several charges including attempted criminal sale of marijuana.

He's been arraigned and sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of bail.
