Oneida County holds longest H1N1 POD Clinic to date

VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - If you want to protect yourself against the H1N1 virus, the Turning Stone Resort & Casino is hosting a "point of distribution" clinic until 3:00p.m. at the Event Center.

They have about 1,000 doses to give out but they don't expect that many people will come because of a lax mindset about the virus, "unfortunately people have bought into the fact that the H1N1 scare is over, so subsequently we've had a drop off in the number of people looking to be vaccinated," said Oneida Nation Fire Marshal Terry Winslow.

You do not need an appointment to get a shot at this clinic.
