Arcuri: Work on high speed rail will begin this spring
(WKTV) - Congressman Michael Arcuri says that work on the high speed rail system in New York State will begin this coming spring.
Sunday morning on NEWSChannel 2, Arcuri said that the money has already been approved to begin work. He also said that most of the initial work will be done between Albany and Schenectady, mainly because that is the only section of the current rail system in New York State that has only one line through it. High Speed Rail is President Obama's plan to build a modern rail network that would connect a number of regions of the country and would be the biggest investment in America's infrastructure in more than half a century. |
