Old Forge FD: Body recovered from Third Lake

OLD FORGE, N.Y. (WKTV) – Old Forge fire officials report that they have recovered the body of a snowmobiler from Third Lake. There was a search operation following an incident that took place around 9:30pm Saturday night.

According to the Town of Webb Police, a State Police helicopter was called in to assist in the search.

Authorities have not released much information about the incident, including the identity of the victim. At last report, notification of next of kin had not been completed.
