Boilermaker 2007

UTICA – With 12,000 runners making their way over the more than 9 mile Boilermaker course this morning, there are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to “runner’s etiquette.”

Runners are lined up in groups at the start line by how fast they plan to run the race, and it’s often recommended to run or walk no more than 2 people abreast.

If you’re running in a group, stay to the back of the pack.

If you need to go the restroom along the route, stop and use a porta-toilet or stop at a house along the route and ask to use a restroom.
