Utica to host Special Olympics

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - While the Winter Olympics are about to begin in Vancouver, come this Summer the State Special Olympics will take place in Utica.
    
The announcement will be made officially at a press conference on Tuesday, February 16th at Utica City Hall.
    
The Special Olympics New York State Summer Games draws more than 4,000 athletes.
    
The final leg of the torch run will take place in Downtown Utica.  The campuses of Utica College, Mohawk Valley Community College and SUNYIT will join Pin-O-Rama in hosting events.  All events will be free and open to the public.
