Man arrested in connection with car break-ins

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man is under arrest after allegedly breaking into parked cars in New Hartford and stealing items out of those cars.

Brian Tchiyuka, 21, is being held in the Oneida County Jail on burglary charges.

According to investigators, the car break-ins happened from mid to late December.

State Police say they had been investigating Tchiyuka in connection with a burglary in Marcy.

They claim to have found some items in his home that had been stolen from the cars.
