Police seek help in locating runaway teenager
HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police are looking for the public's help in locating a sixteen year old male who ran away from his residence.
According to New Hartford Police, Errick S. Case, 16, was last known to be in the Village of Herkimer. Police said there are no criminal charges against Case, and they are just attempting to uncover his whereabouts so that he may be returned to his mother, who resides in Whitesboro. During the course of the investigation, police have learned that Case was picked up by a teen-aged friend of his who is only known as "Zach" and then traveled with friends to the Herkimer area. Police said Case is not believed to be in danger, and police are seeking him to see to it that he is returned to the custody of his parent and returns to school, which he has not been attending. Case is described as 6' 2" tall, 175 lbs, with brown eyes and brown curly hair. He was last scene wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes, blue jeans, and brown work boots. Case may at some point have traveled to Syracuse, but that has not been confirmed. Police ask that anyone who knows Case's whereabouts or has any other information about where Case may be or who he is with, or anyone who spots him is asked to call the New Hartford Police Department at 315-733-6666 or to contact their local police agency.
