Oneida County Corrections officers indicted for allegedly selling steroids

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two Oneida County Corrections Officers have been indicted on felony controlled substance charges.

Peter P. DiNardo and Zachary T. Lazore are accused of possessing and selling steroids oxymethalone and stanozolol and possessing cocaine and the steroid hormone testosterone. The two face a total of eight criminal charges, including two felonies.

The arrests are the result of a State Police investigation.

Dinardo and Lazore pleaded not guilty at their arraignment at Oneida County Court on Wednesday and are due back in court February 24th to report on a plea offer.

Dinardo is still an Oneida County Corrections Officer, but is currently suspended without pay pending resolution of the criminal case against him.

Lazore was terminated from his job in August. He was a probationary employee who had been with the department for less than a year.
