Utica man charged for breaking into and burglarizing Camacho's Tavern

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man is facing charges after police said he broke into a bar on Huntington Street and stole several items from inside.

Utica Police said that on December 15, 2009, Camacho's Tavern on Huntington Street in Utica was entered after someone broke a window to a door on the side of the business.

Police said that once inside, the individual - later identified by forensic evidence as David M. Cardamone, 36, of Utica - took money, cigarettes, keys, and alcohol from the establishment.

Cardamone was arrested and charged on February 17, 2010 by Utica Police.

He now faces charges of third-degree burglary and petit larceny.
