COOPERSTOWN – The Cooperstown Community Band comes to Lakefront Park on July 17 for a free concert at the Cooperstown Bandstand.

The band will be playing a selection of marches, including “Stars and Stripes Forever” and other Sousa marches, selections from Broadway musicals such as Carousel, collections of swing tunes, circus tunes and patriotic numbers.

The family-oriented concert series will be held every Tuesday evening in July and August at 7 p.m., at the historic bandstand in scenic Lakefront Park in Cooperstown.

There is no charge for the concerts thanks to the support of the Village of Cooperstown.
