Two Frankfort residents found stabbed in Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities continue to investigate a stabbing that they say had no witnesses and sent two people to the hospital.

According to State Police, troopers and Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on the scene of 205 Pazdur Boulevard in Westmoreland around 9:40 p.m. on Monday, March 8, where they found Todd C. Smith, 34, and Jenise M. Haddad-Smith, 48, both of Frankfort, suffering from stab wounds.

Both were sent to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica where they are currently being treated for their injuries.

While State Police said there were no witnesses to the incident, the investigation and forensic analysis of the scene are continuing in order to determine who was behind the incident.

State Police said more information would be released as it becomes available, and have scheduled a press conference for 11 a.m. Tuesday regarding the incident.
